Recipe for Today
CREAMY GARLIC MASHED POTATOES
Recipe courtesy Alton Brown
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 10 to 12 servings
3 1/2 pounds russet potatoes 16 fluid ounces (2 cups) half-and-half 6 cloves garlic, crushed 2 tablespoons kosher salt 6 ounces grated Parmesan
Peel and dice potatoes, making sure all are relatively the same size. Place in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce heat to maintain a rolling boil. Cook until potatoes fall apart when poked with a fork.
Heat the half-and-half and the garlic in a medium saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat and set aside.
Remove the potatoes from the heat and drain off the water. Mash and add the garlic-cream mixture, salt, and Parmesan; stir to combine. Let stand for 5 minutes so that mixture thickens and then serve.

I am conducting some research on various
work from home sites and ran across this page.
Even though it wasn't "exactly" what I was
looking for, I think your readers might be
interested in reading my work from home
page since it incorporates the top sites.
As you know, the more information people
have before spending their hard earned
money -- the better. Sorry for the self
promotion, just trying to get the word out
while looking for sites to review.
On to the next -- thanks!

Hi... I am also a work at home mom of twins. I own an online children's shop and I just purchased the most adorable twin greeting cards. They are designed by a mom of twins and she is still growing her business. I was wondering if you be interested in featuring them on you blog to help her get a little exposure.
